Do It Right, Online

If you’re interested in internet marketing then you probably interested in blogging...If not…well then you’re missing out! Many people think targeting keywords are old fashion and are out of date, but it’s so easy! All you have to do is write about what you have an interest in and be consistent....Write everyday and don’t be lazy. I recommend you stick to whatever topic your website is based on for a while before you write about anything different.
This way you can target the traffic your website receives. You don’t have to buy targeted traffic! Look up keywords using Google AdWords; Keyword Tool. It’s extremely helpful and it will tell you which keywords have the most and least competition. It will also show you how many people search for that keyword monthly in the world, and how many people search for the keyword monthly but locally.
The tool is very, very useful if you use it right. For example if you’re looking up, “football tackles” instead use the phrase, “how to tackle in football.” You will be surprised by the difference but it all depends on your topic though. Many certain niches are more popular than others. If you’re planning to use the weight loss niche for example then it will be a lot harder to find a good keyword or phrase that doesn’t contain a lot of competition. This is why it’s very important to narrow down your niche or the topic you might be blogging about.
This way there might be less people looking for your niche but the people that do come to your website will actually be interested in what you’re talking about! You don’t want to be throwing 1000’s of pebbles at a brick wall. You want to be throwing a 100 stones at a wall made of cheese. Know what I mean? It’s about the quality of the traffic not the quantity.
Paid traffic websites will try to fool this way by offering extremely low prices for a lot of traffic. It’s not like there trying to scam you; it’s simply not what you’re looking for if you have a unique niche website. So what am I trying to get at here? Blog and blog some more! Talk about something you have knowledge about. This way people’s interest will be caught because you know what you’re talking about. Remember blog every day and all day, because knowing how to blog is as simple as writing about whatever’s on your mind.
Once you have a blog keep track of your website with a website monitor. Its good to know how many people are coming to your website and if its actually people or bots. You also want to know what your website rank is on Google. If your popularity is down then you can do something about it rather than letting your blog just sit there! If you own a website thenI strongly recommend you acquire a website monitoring system that you can get for FREE. Its another tool you can use to gain advantage over your competitors...and that's important by the way :)
