The first step is the most vital in the internet marketing business. This depends if you will experience success or will experience how it feels to be scammed by the “gurus”. Once you fall the first time into this “guru” trap it’s difficult to get out of it. This is because you will also fall into their email campaigns which are linked with other guru emailing campaigns. All of a sudden the only internet marketing products you can find are worthless, often out of date software products.
Some people do this to themselves by looking for that one click wonder which doesn’t exist, and trust me they don’t. I have bought many of these guru products in the past and they never deliver! The product doesn’t promise what it said it would or the software doesn’t work correctly. It’s a battle that you can’t win and they set it up like this on purpose. “Guru’s” love the idea of the one click wonders that most people are looking for, because it’s the easiest way. Aren’t people always looking for the easiest way to do whatever?
In this case it’s trying to find the easiest way to make money. If you want to make an honest income online then you have to work at what you’re doing. The key word is “work” but this is why I love the internet so much. The work required is only in the set up, after that it’s completely automated. If you can find the time to put in an honest day’s work once, then you can let it go free, and the internet will take it from there. For example an affiliate website you created, so a website selling products of other vendors which you make commissions from.
This is a very lucrative strategy if you know what you’re doing, but that’s if you truly know what you’re doing of course! I might know how to drive a car but I certainly can’t drive a race car in the Daytona 500 can I? Running a website is the same thing. If you don’t know the crucial details behind internet marketing, then your website won’t ever make it off the ground.
